Anny Goldberg

Psychologist for Internationals

About
About

My name is Anny, I am an Expat psychologist working with children, adolescents and young-adults in Amsterdam.

During my psychology Bachelors degree studies I volunteered at a boarding school for international youth. That is where I developed a deep passion for emotionally supporting, developing resilience, strengthening self-esteem, motivating, resolving inner conflicts, and helping people achieve their goals and aspirations.

Since then, I continued to develop my theoretical knowledge and professional skills by studying

for a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and by working and volunteering in different facilities and mental health centers for young-adults, children and adolescents,

During these practical trainings, I treated various patients who were dealing with emotional and behavioral difficulties of varying levels of severity, such as personality disorders, anxiety, depression, social problems, to name a few.

Based on my vast experience and theoretical knowledge, I build a strong genuine connection with each patient and create specialized treatment plan to support, motivate and solve the difficulties my patients are facing. I help my patients develop healthy emotional, cognitive and behavioral patterns that will stay with them as they grow into adulthood.

I do this by using various psychological methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, play therapy (for children), art therapy and more.

In my private clinic in Amsterdam, I provide therapy in English for adults, teenagers and children.
